The Experience

Participants must overcome various physical challenges such as climbing over walls, carrying objects, and more. They must do all of these various tasks over grass, and trail 3.1 miles. SOLDIER RUSH now in its 5th year, and is the epitome of the military boot camp obstacle race. With Patriotism at the heart of the event, SOLDIER RUSH gives a real Military Boot Camp experience, testing the endurance, strength, speed, and dexterity of its participants in a fun and friendly atmosphere!!!

Top three Male and Female in each age group*

(Age Groups:  7-11, 12-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+)

First Place Tug-of-war, Biggest Team, Best Costume

 Finisher Medals for all that participate!

In the spirit of the event, participants are encouraged to come in their American themed outfits.


* To qualify for age group prizes, racers must compete in waves starting at 7:45am through 9:30am

Fitness on a Mission is a 501(c)3 organization formed to raise funds by promoting educational and fitness events including the Soldier Rush Race.  Funds raised from these events go towards supporting recognized and qualified charities that support Veterans, First Responders, their families and others in need.  All contributions to Fitness on a Mission are tax deductible

We ask our community to support this event to help unite and make a positive impact on the lives of our US Veterans  and first responders.

The first Soldier Rush Race took place on May 23, 2015. 

Soldier Rush 2018 was dedicated to the 17 victims of the Marjory Stoneman

Douglas tragedy. 17 walls were erected, one wall for each victim.

The Soldier Rush Pledge:

I understand the importance of looking out for my fellow participants and giving a helping hand I have pride and appreciation for my community and those who are a part of it I will put teamwork before my race time I will overcome any fears I have about participating in an obstacle race

#1: You will be able to have a fun day out in the community.  Bring your friends and family to support a great cause, but also gain a sense of pride and accomplishment doing something for your physical well being.


#2: We will be with you the entire way!  Our team will be alongside you to coach you through the race and help you get through the finish line.  There is NO pressure to complete all the 50+ awesome obstacles, we just want you to feel the rush of participating in a fun-filled event.


#3: You will make new friends!  This event will involve people that are like minded who look to make positive changes in other's lives.  Meet people who want to help support your health and fitness goals.


#4: Join the competitive wave for your chance to win money & prizes for the top 3 finishers in both male/female categories.


#5: Support our Military Veterans!!!  Support our First Responders!!! Support our community!!!
