The Experience

Participants must overcome various physical challenges such as climbing over walls, carrying objects, and more. They must do all of these various tasks over grass, and trail 3.1 miles. SOLDIER RUSH now in its 7th year, and is the epitome of the military boot camp obstacle race. With Patriotism at the heart of the event, SOLDIER RUSH gives a real Military Boot Camp experience, testing the endurance, strength, speed, and dexterity of its participants in a fun and friendly atmosphere!



•Top three overall Male and Female Winners of the 7:45am competitive wave

•1st place Masters Male and Masters Female

•1st place Male and Female Tire Flips and Pull-Ups

•Top three Male and Female in each age group*

(Age Groups:  7-11, 12-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+)

•First Place Tug-of-war, Biggest Team, Best Costume

 Finisher Medals for all that participate!

In the spirit of the event, participants are encouraged to come in their American-themed outfits.


* To qualify for age group prizes, racers must compete in waves starting at 7:45am through 9:30am

Fitness on a Mission is a 501(c)3 organization formed to raise funds by promoting educational fitness events such as the Soldier Rush Race. Funds raised from these events are used to support recognized and qualified charities that support Veterans, First Responders, their families, and others in need. 
All contributions to Fitness on a Mission are tax-deductible.

We ask our community to support this event because it brings our cities together

and makes a positive impact on the lives of our US Veterans and first responders.

The first Soldier Rush Race took place on May 23, 2015. 

Soldier Rush 2018 was dedicated to the victims of the Marjory Stoneman

Douglas tragedy. 17 walls were erected, one for each victim.

SOLDIER RUSH welcomes all skill levels.  Join us for the fun!



The Soldier Rush Pledge:

I understand the importance of looking out for my fellow participants and am happy to give a helping hand. I have pride and appreciation for my community and those who are a part of it. I will put teamwork before my race time and display good sportsmanship throughout the event. 

Why Soldier Rush?

#1: You will have a great time outdoors with our community! Bring your friends and family to join you in the course or cheer you on from the sidelines. This event was created for the important cause of aiding veterans, but also for encouraging you as participants to challenge yourseleves and feel pride at the end of your accomplishment!


#2: We will be with you the entire way! Our team will be alongside you to coach you through the race and help you run through the finish line. There is NO pressure to complete all the 50+ awesome obstacles, we just want you to feel the rush of participating in a fun-filled event.


#3: You will make new friends! This event will introduce you to like-minded people who also value their physical well-being and go out of their way to create positive impact on the life of others. 


#4: You could make some money! Join the competitive wave for a chance to win money & prizes if you are in the top 3 finishers of either the male or female category.
